Описание: В основу фильма положен мировой бестселлер Жюля Верна «20 000 лье под водой», который рассказывает невероятную и волнующую историю приключений в подводном мире… 1860 год. Молодой француз Пьер Арронакс одержим идеей — доказать существование морского чудовища, которое, согласно его теории, является причиной пропажи морских судов.
Во время поисковой экспедиции его судно терпит крушение. Пьер приходит в себя на борту удивительной подводной лодки — «Наутилуса». Хозяин «Наутилуса» — деспотичный и властный капитан Немо, проявляя гостеприимство, совершает специально для Пьера и его друзей удивительную экскурсию, показывая им все волшебные сокровища океана.
Но друг Пьера Нед Ленд, не желая больше оставаться пленником, задумывает захватить подводную лодку в свои руки. Ко всему прочему, между Пьером и дочерью капитана Немо Марой завязывается роман, что еще больше усложняет ситуацию. Во время подводной экспедиции в сторону Антарктики на лодке происходит серьезная авария, способная привести к гибели всего экипажа под толщей льда.
Пассажирам «Наутилуса» приходится отбросить в сторону свои личные амбиции и счеты и объединиться, чтобы выбраться из ледяного ада.
